Kappo Toshi was founded in 1978 by its founder, who was the executive chef of Fukiro, one of Nagasaki's three most established traditional Japanese restaurants, out of his desire to provide restaurant flavors in an easily accessible way.The current second generation owner honed his skills at Kyoto restaurants that are successors to "Sanso Kyoyamato," and has used that experience to create the flavors we have today while continuing to protect Nagasaki traditions.
